Colors
There are two sets of colors available for customization - the highlight color, which is used for selected or highlighted text, and the variation color, which is used for selected menus and form controls. The highlight color may be customized, but the variation color may not.

Themes
Themes are built from the different appearance settings. Changing the theme will change all appearance settings, including sounds and functionality (like double-clicking title bars to toggle windowshade). Below are the default OS 9 themes.
